Enjoy your Cape Cod Vacation at our cottage in this quiet seaside neighborhood. It is located on Waquoit Bay, only steps back from the saltwater beach, with gorgeous waterviews. We have a private shared beach, and are steps away from a larger beach. Have your coffee on our beach or cocktails in the open air on our rooftop deck overlooking the ocean bay. The sunsets are breathtaking, and the sea breeze refreshing. For a full day at the beach, South Cape Beach State Park is a short drive away; no highway travel is necessary to get there. Since we are on the some of the most southernmost points of Cape Cod, the water is exceptionally warm, yet still refreshing. After a day at the beach, rinse off the sand in the outside shower, a Cape Cod tradition. Walk along the causeway for an up-close look at the nesting osprey; or perhaps you will be fortunate to see one of our resident great blue herons. This restful sanctuary by the sea is off the beaten path, yet so close to so many activities and attractions. Most of our guests tell us that their stay at our cottage is more than they have imagined, and many come back each year, even in the off-season! Our yard is completely fenced in, giving you privacy and seclusion, so important for a relaxing vacation. The interior of our 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom cottage is bright, clean and sunny. The dining room opens onto the ground level deck, allowing dining inside or out. For your convenience, all linens are provided for bedrooms and bath, the kitchen is completely stocked with most of what you will need for cooking and wrapping or storing your food. Your main concern for your vacation will be your clothes and food - we've made the rest easy for you!

If you have kayaks or can borrow or rent them for your stay, there is plenty of room to store them in the yard. If you have a small boat on a trailer, we can give you several options for storing the trailer for your visit. There are several public boat ramps nearby, and yes, there are fish in the bay! For the adventurous, Martha's Vineyard is about 4 1/2 miles away by boat. Golf courses and bike trails are plentiful, and shopping is easily accessible at the open air Mashpee Commons (minutes away), as well as Falmouth and Hyannis. For those who also must "work" on vacation, Mashpee Commons offers wireless hotspots. We also have a wireless connection for our two cottages. Seconsett Island is charming; drive across the causeway and you will be at this cottage on the bay. |
